Even though family and friends do their best to help us during divorce, sometimes they plain and simply can’t. That’s where the knowledge and experience of a certified Divorce Coach comes in. Cathy Meyer, divorce coach, mentor and advisor is here to help you navigate your divorce.

She will respond to questions about family challenges, the emotional issues, financial concerns, and the overall struggles one faces during and after a divorce. Her passion is to help people move past divorce with their dignity and self-respect intact; and to minimize the amount of collateral damage borne by the children involved.

We will publish a response to one question every Monday here at Divorced Women Online. Cathy will respond to as many reader questions and concerns as is possible. She is NOT an attorney, and does not practice law or give legal advice. We encourage you to seek the advice of an attorney or mediator for any legal issues you need answers to.

For more from Cathy check out her site at About.com where she is the Guide to Divorce Support.
